Bearsted Station Adoption

We have now adopted Bearsted Station, everybody in the village can get involved in deciding how we use grant funding on offer to make our station better, more convenient and better used.

NOTE: This runs in parallel with a village campaign to improve frequency and connectivity of the service itself.

Station Adoption is a scheme run by the Community Rail Partnership to give local groups a hand in improving and developing their own stations. In parallel Bearsted is running a separate campaign to improve service frequency and connectivity. Bearsted Station adoption is being coordinated by Bearsted CAN and is working closely with other groups in the village including the Parish Council and the Bearsted and Thurnham Society.
